Celebrity Century Cruise

We took a Celebrity Cruise for Christmas 2006 on the newly refurbished Century. . We had done Century in 2005 before it's makeover and loved it and this time we were traveling with 10 family members. The ship is beautiful. The food to die for. You can eat all day and all night. Whatever you want the staff goes out of their way to get for you. The shows were your standard cruise type. Not very impressive. Our cruise was 9 days long and visited the Western Carribean. Weather in December was perfect.

The statrooms left a little to be desired. We had chosen a standard outside cabin since the balconys and suites were sold out. These cabins are only 170 sq feet. We had 4 people in the cabin. 2 adults and 2 teenagers.It was almost impossible for the 4 of us to be in the cabin together. We had 2 lower beds and 2 uppers. When the uppers were in the down postion you could not sit up in the lower beds. It made for a lot of laughs. We survived but learned a good lesson. Always double check the size of your cabin before making final payment. I was more concerned with the location of the cabin. Lesson learned.

Childrens program was very good. My 5 year old niece begged to go everyday and never wanted to leave. We had over 400 kids on board when we sailed.It was a great family vacation.

 I don't think you'll be disappointed if you take a cruise on the Celebrity Century.
