I am not a big fan of bootcut jeans, but they seemed to be the trend last year, so I had bought a pair for summer. I chose Faded Glory, a brand I often buy and am generally pleased with, stretch, tall, white color. They have this below-waist waistline, of course - for some reason it is so crazily popular these days that you can no longer find a pair with a normal waistline. I have learned to accept it, I guess, if it's not over the top low; this one is okay. The fabric is 98% cotton and 2% spandex for stretching.
I wore these jeans throughout summer and fall. They fit me well, my husband has repeatedly mentioned how nice they sit on me, so I've got a second-party confirmation on that. :) As to bootcut, I grew to appreciate it when the weather cooled off and I switched from shoes to boots. Now, with boots, those wide flares do make sense!
According to care instructions, these jeans are to be washed in cold water and dried in low temperature, but I have used warm water and higher temperature several times, and the jeans are just fine, no shrinking or any other damage.

I love bootcut stretch jeans, but I haven't had much luck with Faded Glory, seems if they fit my hips the waist is too big. Glad to hear they worked out well for you and you grew to appreciate the bootcut ;).
Agree 100% with you that it is very very difficult to find those pair of jeans with a normal waistline....all are low -cut...old ppl like me how to wear low cut jeans..LOL
I have a really hard time finding jeans that fit right, don't shrink, etc. I'll have to try a pair of these on.

I love jeans with a little stretch. I've never tried on this brand though--will have to do that sometime. Thanks!
I love stretchable jeans and Faded Glory is a good brand in jeans.
It's always nice to have a pair of jeans the hubby likes.
