I bought this beautiful figurine of a black and white cat during my trip to Northern Ireland back in early 1990's. This was the first time I saw resin animal figurines, and I was amazed at how detailed and realistic those animals looked. The little street shop had several cat and dog figurines by Leonardo Collection. I liked them all, but this lovely green-eyed tuxedo cat was the best. He stands about three inches tall and somewhat looks up at you in stride. In addition to the classic tuxedo cat coloring, his paws and the tip of his tail are also white. The paws have soft padding, so he would not scratch furniture. On the back of his right back leg, you can see the inscription "Leonardo." It does not stand out, you have to look for it to find it. The cat was around $15-16 when I bought him. I do not think Leonardo Collection makes this figurine anymore, so it is now a collectible and probably worth more.
I love this green-eyed fellow. In addition to being a beautiful figurine, he is a nice memory of my trip to Northern Ireland and also of my grandma's cat who looked almost exactly like this one.

Animal figurines where the expression of an animal is really captured are wonderful. You've described this one very nicely.
Nice. I like animals. My mom likes to collect figurines of humans but those are creepy.
