Imperial Palace

I entered a raffle a few years ago for my friend's police academy graduation. I spent $5 and I ended up winning third prize which was a free trip to Vegas for 3 days and 2 nights. I had never been to Vegas then so I was pretty excited.

The hotel we stayed at was the Imperial Palace, which is right next to Harrah's on the strip. The Imperial Palace and Harrah's are together also, Harrah's is a lot bigger though. I enjoyed this hotel. It wasn't huge which was nice so it wasn't a long walk to the room or anything like in other hotels. The hotel also had a casino on the bottom floor which was definitely a plus. The casino was open 24 hours also, like most casinos in Vegas.

The casino also had this thing called "Dealertainers". They were poker dealers dressed up as celebrities. It was cute. They also would perform too periodically throughout the day. It didn't cost any extra to play poker with the dealertainers either. Some of the Dealertainers were Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears, Elvis Presley, Little Richard, etc...  Another cool thing, they have is a show called "Legends In Concert". This is people performing as celebrities in concerts. I didn't get a chance to attend this but it definitely sounded like a cool thing. It had celebrity look-a-likes like Madonna, the Blue Brothers, etc....

This hotel also has a Rockhouse Bar & Nightclub. This is new so I didn't get a chance to go to it but it looks like a cool place to go. The Imperial Palace also has an Auto Collections exhibits which has old cars and new cars in it. If you go to the front desk and tell them you are a guest at the hotel, they will give you a ticket for free admittance. I liked looking at the older cars the most.

The room we stayed in was pretty decent, it wasn't the fanciest room, but a basic hotel room. It was very clean and pretty large and roomy. The bathroom was pretty big and very clean.

This hotel also has several places to eat throughout the hotel, a spa, a pool, a salon, and some shopping places. It is on the Las Vegas Strip, almost in the middle of the strip too. It is a great place to stay at when visiting Las Vegas. If I go back, I will probably stay here again.
