Disney Dollars
I received these Disney Dollars as a wedding anniversary gift. My anniversary is in April but the person giving us this gift knew we would be going to Disney World in September. What a great idea! This is a good alternative to giving a gift card.
You can purchase these Disney Dollars at the Disney Store or at the Disney theme parks. I remember receiving some as change when we were at Disney World in 2005. Each denomination of currency has a different picture on the front. The backs of each one is also unique to it's denomination. My Disney Dollars have Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Stitch. Wonder why they didn't print a Tinkerbell one?! They are so colorful and cute I almost hate to spend them!

I love buying Disney dollars in advance for a vacation. It's a great way to save spending money and get a little stash built up for trips. I can't remember if I've seen a Tink on any of the denominations but when we were just down in May there was a new TINK gift card that was new to us. I purchased some just because they were way too cute!!

I have a few of these I saved just as a cute little reminder of our vacation. I could be wrong but I thought I heard they don't sell these at the Disney Stores anymore? I'm not sure though
My son bought these for me and he said they bought them from the Disney store. Maybe it was from the online store? hmmmm maybe I should clarify that and update here. :)

I think these make a wonderful gift for anyone who loves Disney. They are attractive and an easy way to build up a vacation nest egg before you go.
I love these things and I have to agree that they make great gifts. We received some a few years back for christmas and they were great..
I love these! I buy them for my daughters for their spending money so this way they can actually see how much money they have and I show them how much it will cost so they can see how much they wil have left. This has worked very well for us it makes them think although I always end up giving them more money to spend!

Even though Disney Dollars aren't used as much anymore, I still think they are great, especially for kids who want to spend their "own" money at Disney. But your right...they are so cute, who wants to actually spend them.
