DXG-506V Digital Video Camera

I've recently purchased the DXG-506V Video Camera for under $100. I'm really glad I did. The reasons I chose this camera are as follows. First, it uses an SD memory card which are inexpensive and easy to use. You just plug the card into your pc after you record your video and you are able to easily see what you've recorded. If you don't have a slot on your computer for a memory card you can use the included USB cord to view your videos. You can also connect to your computer and use it as a web cam.This camera not only does videos, it also functions as a still camera for taking snapshots. For both of these modes there is a 4x zoom option. The picture quality is fairly good. You can get better, but at a higher price. The camera has a viewing screen that fold out and enables you to see what your shooting. You can also use the playback feature and watch right on the display screen what you've recorded. Another reason I chose this was that it also has a built in MP3. You can hook it to your computer using the USB cable and download songs off the internetto listen to. The camera is small enough that it isn't annoying to carry around. Ear buds are included. Anothet feature is the audio mode. This lets you record your voice- good for note taking etc. For all these features at such a reasonable price, this is a great deal. It would be perfect for a pre-teen to teen.
