Label Buddy, cheap and easy

Share and Enjoy:

While I have taken a timeout for the past year or so, I use to be really into scrapbooking.  This label gadget is one of the many, many tools I bought to use for this purpose.  And actually I've found countless other uses for it too including labeling my son's toy shelves.  You could also use it to lable your files, notebooks, or anything else that needs organization.

The labeler is simple enough to use.  You really don't even need directions once you get the tape in the machine.  Just turn the dial so the arrow points to the number or letter you want and click...easy.

Although the labeler claims to be easy enough for kids to use, my son has tested this claim numerous times including today (age 9).  He does not have the hand strength to press the lever so that the letters are legible.  The harder you press, the more defined your letter is.

The roles of tape are at least 4 feet long.  As far as I know, this machine is only capable of doing 3/8 inch think (or tall) labels or there really is no option for the font or size.  When the tape runs out, you do have quite a few options of color though including: red, blue, orange, yellow, black, (24 feet for $6).

In summary GREAT product for very little money.  I definitely recommend this to anyone needing a simple labeler.

  2. An interesting new use for the classic label maker. My main objection to these labels was that they refused to stay adhered to some surfaces.

    1. Yes, they don't work well on slick surfaces you are so right.

  8. I do agree with you. I have labled alot of my bins and if its a slick surface they do not adhere well
