Travel Light With This Pack

Share and Enjoy:

We have two Eagle Creek Soho Slings which we use when traveling. They are great for all the little extras nobody has room for nor wants to carry around while sightseeing. It is larger than a purse yet smaller than a backpack. It is also the perfect size for more local outings where I prefer (or need) to have my hands free: hiking, horseback riding, zoos, museums, etc. It is a wonderful, lightweight, alternative to a backpack.

Not only is the Eagle Creek Soho Sling is just the right size, it is and well-organized. It has three departments, lash straps to hold an umbrella (or another item) and a padded side pocket cell phone holder.

The front, outside department is the smallest of the three but, big enough to hold the things you want fast access to: sunglasses, lipstick, passport, MP3 player, map etc.

The middle section has a wide opening with a divided, organized area for you pens, ID, palm and credit cards. This works best when traveling and I only carry my ID and one credit card otherwise, I keep those in my wallet. But, I still use the divided sections for my palm, small notebook, pens, checkbook etc. and have room for many items I normally carry in my purse.

The large main section is big enough to carry my daytimer, book, snacks, a light weight sweater, small first aid kit, with extra room for a few purchases. I carry my camera in another bag but have carried the video camera in this section.

I really like the padded side pocket (located on the strap) for easy cell phone access. On the bottom are dual lash straps for an umbrella and water bottle, making them easy to get to as well.

The Eagle Creek Soho Sling pack measures 15.8 x 11.5 x 3" and is available in three color choices: pine, brick and black.

  2. Good looking sling at an affordable price. These are very useful when hiking or simply taking a quick trip somewhere, where heavier packing isn't necessary.
