LL Bean Hammock
We received an LL Bean hammock as a gift a few years ago. It is a wonderful hammock and if you are in the market for one this is the brand to go with.
For one thing, it is wide. Wide enough for two adults (or an adult and a few kids) to lay on comfortable. My husband and I can both be in the hammock with no trouble. It is very durable and made of strong white rope. We have not run into any issues with it fraying or tearing. And on the slim chance that it did LL Bean offers fantastic customer service and would most likely replace it. They really stand behind their well made products.
It is very easy to use and comes with the hardware you need. We simply found two trees in our yard that were a good distance apart, screwed in a hook on each tree and then hung the hammock. It is very easy to take down and put back up. We do not leave it out all the time as I don't think leaving it in the elements would be a great idea. We just take it down and carry it to our garage. It is very easy to do that.
They sell a seperate pillow that can be used with it but we did not get that. Really if you needed a pillow any one you have would do.

A hammock and summer... what could be better?
I would love a hammock, but we have no trees capable of holding it, not sure how it'd work on palm trees!
