Reduce your sweeping time!
Our new house has hardwood in the entry hallway, dining area and kitchen and I hate sweeping! I found this at Bed, Bath and Beyond and told my husband I was buying it! It is vacuum for your hardwood floors!
Yes, I am lazy and dispise sweeping! This is super easy to use. You do need to keep it plugged in because it is cordless. Just turn it on and 'sweep' your area. You can also use this on your carpet as well, so it is really a 2-n-1 vacuum!
In order to empty the vacuum, you just push the button and empty into the trash. The handle swivles and it is designed for you to be able to reach into places you would not be able to with a standard/regular vacuum.
So far I like this. My kids are able to use it as well! We have two dogs and it picks up everything with ease! My husband however chooses to sweep the old fashioned way!

I would really like to try this, if you think it is good, because several lightweight vacuums that I've gotten just didn't work that well!
Wow I thkni this is soemthign I could use. Every bedroom has hardwood and so does our dinning room. I would get loads of use out of it.
Well, I have to like something with the name of "Shark." But it sounds like it works well too.
This sounds good - we also have hardwood floors in the entry, hallway and kitchen/breakfast nook area. I use a swiffer, but there's some dust that always gets left behind. I'll have to check this out!
Love the handle - this would be very useful to get under sofas and chairs without having to move them everytime you clean.
The bending feature really seems useful to help under chairs and things as opposed to moving them or crouching
