Ear Band It

Back in November my 7 year oldest son got tubes in his ears.  He was fine with it until he realized that he was not able to swim with them.  We have ear plugs for the bath, but I thought they might fall out in the swimming pool, so I went on a hunt and found this product.  It comes with 2 pair of putty ear plugs, and then a stretchy band that fits around his head to keep the ear plugs in place.  It works great!  He's been swimming for a month now and we haven't had any problems with his ears.

I gave this product a durability rating of a 3 because the first band we got fell apart in 2 days.  Actually, it wasn't the band itself, but the material that covers the band.  It was hanging down in his face and ripped to shreds.  I called the company and they sent me a new one within a couple of days.  We have now been using it for a month and it is still in good shape.
