We've had a king size bed for some time now, but had not purchased anything other than sheets for it. Last Christmas, my mom and grandma offered to get us some bedding. A couple times a week, both my husband and I remark on how comfy our bed is, and part of it is because of our duvet cover.
Because we have a young kid, I really wanted to get a comforter and a duvet cover. We were looking for the following qualities in the duvet cover:
1. Machine washable - this was a must!
2. Something in a lighter color. We have a light-colored dog who sleeps with us in bed, so we wanted to avoid darker colors.
3. We wanted something of a decent quality, but didn't want to break the bank.
The cover set we ordered from Overstock fit all of our criteria (we ordered the camel color), and it came with a bedskirt (which fits nicely) and pillow shams (we don't use these since we don't have king size pillows).
We've had it for about 7 months now, and we are really satisfied. I have washed it multiple times, and it still looks great. The microsuede is really soft. The material on the bottom (microfiber, according to the website) is nice too. My only complaint is that the buttons and buttonholes could be better made - the stitching on the buttonholes is pretty shabby, and I have to rebutton them frequently.
If you are looking for something affordable, but nice, I would recommend this. So far, it has done a great job withstanding the wear and tear of a dog and toddler!

I love the convenience of a duvet cover, you got a great deal on this one!
I have sheets from Overstock.com. You can good deals there. Glad they had king size - that must be hard to find sometimes.
Microsuede is fantastic. It cleans well and washed well too. Furniture is especially worth getting in microsuede.
I've been looking at similar products at Overstock.com. Thanks for your helpful information.
