Limited Edition of 250 - Jack Skellington pin

I am a pretty recent addition to the Disney pin trading world… and a long time lover of the uniqueness know as Jack Skellington.

These two facts made purchasing a limited edition Jack Skellington official Disney trading pin with a run of just 250 units, a no brainer. I cannot believe that I actually scored one of these!

This Jack Skellington pin depicts Jack sitting down to Thanksgiving dinner. He is wearing a Pilgrim hat and an orange bib decorated with bats, while munching down on an ear of corn.

His brown table is draped with an orange tablecloth edged in skulls and bones. Upon the tablecloth is a skull and bone candle holder holding a lit black candle. He has a plate containing a turkey leg, corn bread, mashed potatoes and peas. The table also holds a glass of wine, a neatly folded napkin and a fork, knife and spoon.

The pin is heavy and nicely made.

As with all Disney trading pins, it is backed with the Mickey head rubber backings - this pin has two pins on the back instead of the normal one as it is a bit larger than normal… but not too large to wear.

I will replace the rubber backings with a more secure metal grip backing (not the locking backs sold by Disney, which are horrible and expensive!) as the rubber backings tend to expand with the heat and fall off. I have lost some pins this way and do not plan to lose this baby!
