I have been a member NFCU (Navy Federal Credit Union) for over twenty years. When I was getting ready to transfer from Pensacola, Florida to Misawa, Japan, I opened a savings and checking account with them. At the same time they offered me a credit card that I still use today.
Whenever I needed to contact them, they had an international line with customer service representatives that would courteously answer my questions. I was able to buy my first computer (an Amiga) on the credit card. The interest was lower than of course today.
Just a few days ago, my hubby and I needed a loan for some dental work. A few days before we had gone to a bank to get a personal loan. They declined us even though our credit was good. My credit was in the excellent range. We were very depressed, so I called NFCU. In three days they had approved the loan. We set up a transfer from one of my accounts. And, even my husband was impressed with the service.
NFCU is for members of the Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, and Army. Also, family members of military can get accounts with NFCU.
This credit union provides many lending services, insurance, accounts, IRAs and other services. They are there when you need them. I am glad that I am a member.

I find credit unions willing to work with their members.
Love, love, love Navy Federal! I'd have all my money there if they had a local branch here. I've used them since I was a child (over 30 years now) and still use them for savings.
They are great.. I was in the Navy when I got my first account. I have nothing but good to say about them. They are kings of the credit unions.
Wow thanks for letting us know about them.Sounds like a good one around to check out
Credit Unions in general have great service.
