Wella What?

I am a sucker for salon style hair products. If you are able to find the right brand for your hair, then it makes all the difference. I do a lot of maintenance to my hair such has heat styling it every other day, coloring/highlighting, etc. Because of the damage done by my hair dryer and flat iron, I was turned onto the Wella product line. Not only do they have a great "Color Preserve" line but their products are great at hydrating my parched strands.
I am a believer that if I love one thing by a certain manufacturer then all their products should be great. Right? Well, I went on to purchase the "Color Preserve" Hairspray and I couldn't be more wrong. I am sure that the hairspray itself is fine and wonderful but the spray bottle it came in is awful. The nozzle is so hard to use that I was barely able to get the a third of the product on my hair before it clogged up. When it was working, the spray was so weak that I had to hold it an inch from my head to catch the product. You also had to use all the strength in your hand to press down the nozzle which is almost compacted in the bottle. In the end. the nozzle clogged up and created this sticky ooze in the cap when I was about half way through the bottle. I know there are ways to unclog bottle of hairspray but it just wasn't worth it to me and I wound up throwing it away.
Overall, I would suggest that if you chose to spend your money on salon style hair products, I would do so on shampoos and conditioners. I was able to find a much cheaper hairspray, like Tresemme, that has an awesome powerful nozzle and holds my hairstyle throughout the day. It also helps that the product does not contain any water which you will find is the number one ingredient on most hairsprays. Water, which is the one killer for curly-hair girls as myself who like to style their hair straight.
Now, every morning I am ready to take on my day having completed my hair regime by a big cloud of hairspray. ;)
