The Mickey Chandelier is a 5 arm hanging light fixture that has a black scrolled wrought iron looking finish. It takes 25 watt pointy medium base bulbs and came with the 5 linen looking shades. It measures approximately 30 inches wide by 15 inches high excluding the chain so it is the perfect size to fit over a kitchen or dining room table.What makes this chandelier unique is the scrolled Mickey head icon in the middle. It takes most people a few minutes to actually notice the Mickey Icon but it puts a smile on their face when they do.
When it first arrived, 3 of the shades where damaged. They somehow got crushed in shipping and had a few dents that were noticeable when the chandelier was on. We called Disney to report it and had replacement shades in a few days.
My ex-husband put it up for us and it took him about 5 minutes total to attach the wiring. The hardest part was figuring out how long we wanted the chain to be. It came with plenty of chain so it should work for most any height ceiling.
At first I thought there was no way the 25 watt bulbs were going to give off enough light at the table, but they actually work very well. The shades provide just the right amount of a soft glow and prevent the bulbs from being to glaring and hurting your eyes. The scroll pattern is wide apart and not tight and close together so it is easy to get in to the groves and keep it clean with either a cloth or a duster.
We have been very pleased with the look and the quality of our Mickey Chandelier and I would recommend it.
