Grand Superior Lodge - great place to stay
If you are looking for a relaxing getaway look no further than Grand Superior Lodge on the northern shores of Lake Superior in Two Harbors, Minnesota. I just enjoyed a week there and wish I could have made it a longer trip.
There are so many things to see and do not only in the resort itself but in the immediate surroundings. You can walk along the pebble beach on the resort, borrow the complimentary bikes or canoes and take a spin around the lake, or hike the nearby Superior hikining trail. Or if you prefer check out a complimentary book or DVD from the library in the main lodge and curl up in your room for the night. Or like myself, you can get a massage from the certified massage therapist on staff.
I included pictures of my room and the view from it but you can reserve anything from a room for 2 to a house for 10 or more. The views were spectacular. I will definitely be making a return trip and recommend this place to anybody looking to unwind.
