Bioshock
Share and Enjoy:
Bioshock is perhaps the most ingenious game I have ever experienced. The plot alone carries this incredible game, but the easy and enjoyable action add to create the full experience. However, there are indeed mature themes and language, as well as a heaping helping of intense action and blood, which earns this game an "M" rating. Not your typical shooter, this game interweaves psuedo-psychic powers, research, upgrades, and genetic enhancements to custom-create your own fighting style. The re-playability of this game is nearly endless, thanks to the adaptable environment and numerous killing methods and strategies.Without too many specifics, the game begins with your characters discovery of an underwater city named Rapture, where you enter the scene in a period of civil upheaval, due to a genetically mutating substance called Adam. This city was meant to be a utopic society by its founder, where moral and governmental influence are nonexistant. But as seen thoughout the game, there are problems with this philosophy. Bioshock is an unique and fun game worthy of any gamer's time.
