Dove Pro-Age Beauty Bar

Dove's Pro-Age line is designed to provide a defense against the natural aging process. According to Dove's website , the Pro-Age beauty bar "optimizes surface cell turnover and gently cleanses to reveal vital, luminous skin." I decided to try a bar because I was getting bored with my regular Dove Exfoliating bar soap, and I love trying new bath and beauty products. I also figured that it wouldn't hurt to start taking better care of my skin.

I was pleased to discover that the Pro-Age bar also has the little exfoliating particles embedded in the bar just like the Dove Exfoliating soap. I like this because I can go over my skin with the bar and exfoliate; I like to wash first with a bar of soap and then move on to a liquid body wash and my bath pouf.

This soap gets my skin clean the first time and has a fairly neutral scent. It's enough to make you feel like you're clean, but not too strong that you can't use a scented liquid body wash afterwards and not have any strange mixing of scents. The bar usually lasts me at least six weeks, and I use it every day in the shower.  

Dove soaps are known for being moisturizing, and with this bar I can be confident that I'm taking care of my skin before it has the chance to suffer from some of the damaging effects of aging. I'd recommend this one for anyone looking for a good, old-fashioned bar of soap.
