Coppertone UltraGuard Sunscreen

Share and Enjoy:

On our last trip to Kauai a few months ago, for the first time, not one of us got sunburned! Not even my husband or my son, who are both wearers of very fair skin. My husband always gets burned. This time, though, I came armed with the best sunscreen I’ve discovered yet: Coppertone UltraGuard Continuous Spray. The label says Anti-Burn, Broad Spectrum, UVB/UVA Anti-Aging Protection.

I bought the big guns, 50 SPF. I really hate having to worry about sunburns when we’re having fun at the beach, but, of course, planning ahead and reapplying when needed is definitely what you have to do to avoid a miserable sunburn. I’ve known people who got sunburned early in their Hawaiian vacation and it ended up spoiling their trip.

What I like most about this version of Coppertone is that it sprays on. You can hold the can at any angle and it still sprays just fine. That is so much better than having to rub it on – especially when you are at the beach and your hands are sandy!

The Coppertone UltraGuard Clear formula is the one we really liked. It just sprays so nice and evenly and gives great coverage. AND it’s waterproof! I don’t take them completely at their word, though, on this and I make sure that everyone reapplies after an hour or so in the water. My kids get tired of me nagging about it, but that’s my job!

We even ended up bringing part of the can home, unused. It really went a long way.

If you are headed for the sun, and want an easy sunscreen to use, I highly recommend the Continuous Spray Coppertone UltraGuard.

  1. We got terrible burns our first time in Hawaii, and we were not alone. Seemed every tourist was blistered red by the tropical sun. I'm so happy to hear they have a spray on SPF 50 for places like this. It goes such a long way in stopping nasty burns and future skin cancer.

  2. I'll have to remember this spray when we take our trip to Hawaii, that's if hubby ever decides to tear himself away from the biz :) Thanks for the info, sounds like it's a good product and I like the spray aspect of it.
