Diamond Star Pendant
This was a birthday gift from my loving husband! I saw it in the showcase at my local Kay Jewelery store. It was very unique looking and I had never seen anything like it anywhere before. I asked to try it on and once my husband saw how much I loved it, he bought it for me!
It is a small star with 5 baguette and 6 round diamonds. The total diamond weight is approximately 1/4 carat. Even though the diamonds are small, they all have a briliant color and shine.
The pendant came with a 15", very thin and delicate, gold chain which I didn't think was practical. I changed it over to a stronger chain with a safety clasp. I also bought the insurance they offered me for the jewelery. That was a smart move because I discovered one day that I had lost one of the baguette diamonds while I was at work.
I took it back to the store and they replaced the lost diamond for free. The diamond that they replaced it with didn't seem to be as brilliant and colorful as the one I had lost. I told the manager it was not the same quality as my other one and they sent it back and replaced it with a better diamond. This time it was perfect.
This is one of my favorite pieces of jewelery from Kay's!
