Girls' 3-piece Swimsuit
While shopping in Kohl's one day, I came across this adorable 3-piece swimsuit that I knew my daughter would love. The set included the tankini top, a boyshort bottom and a more traditional scoop bikini bottom. It was priced right, so I scooped it up!
The top of the suit is a color-blocked black and pink tankini with a hibiscus screenprinted on the front and an allover hibiscus print on the back. The traditional bottom has a pink front, black sides and the same hibiscus print on the back. (This is a full-coverage bathing suit bottom, almost a brief....very conservative and completely appropriate for little girls.) The boyshort bottom, which turned out to be my daughter's favorite, is black in the back and pink in the front, and features a belted design with a silver buckle (see photo).
My daughter says that all three pieces are really comfortable, and she loves the style and colors of the suit. I love that this suit allows her the convenience and comfort of a 2 piece suit without baring too much. She is, after all, only seven! Plus, in case you weren't really paying close attention, let me say again that the back of the boyshort is BLACK. Perfect! Now when my daughter sits on the pool deck or the swings or the slide in her bathing suit, she doesn't end up with a backside full of grime!
This suit is available in sizes 4-6X, and also comes in light blue with black. I hand-rinse the suit to eliminate chlorine build-up, and it has held up extremely well. At under $10, I think I got a great deal!
