what a back saver!
this is a great gadget to have! yes, it does the work great! but only if you keep it clean and you clear the room of rugs. I usually vacuum the rugs and put them up on the chair, in addition I pick up the chairs and put them on the table and then let my faithfull scooba vacuum and wash my hardwood floors - when it's done my floors are clean!!! The virtual wall works really good keeping the scooba from going to the carpeted areas. it can also stop itself if there is a drop or such. So far I've only used the scooba hardwood cleaner, but a mix of water and vinegar can be use instead (per its manual). After every run I clean the filters and empty the water containters and charge the battery for next time - i do take care of my back saver :) The only con that I can see is that is a bit time consuming to keep it up (cleaning its filters and letting it air dry and such) and that it being round some sharp corners are left behind.
I do recommend this item to anyone with hardwood floors!

Rainbow Vacuum
I've heard the battery goes bad after a year or two of use - and the cost of replacing it is comparable to buying a new one =/
