The Nightmare Before Christmas Collector's Edition

This is one of my all time favorite movies ever created. Tim Burton has always been one of my favorite directors and this is one of his best films.

The Nightmare Before Christmas is about a character named Jack Skellington who just happens to be the Pumpkin King of Halloween Town but he's bored with all the Halloween spill every year. He wants to do something new and exciting. He ends up finding another world, Christmas Town. It's bright and cheerful and covered in mysterious white stuff. He brings these ideas back to Halloween Town and decides that he is going to run Christmas this year. Needless to say, things don't go the way planned and Jack realizes that he is the Pumpkin King and forever will be the Pumpkin King and that is what he loves to do.

The film is all done in stop motion animation which gives it a very uniqe look. And it ofcourse is done in Tim Burtons strange style which I absolutly LOVE.

 The 2-Disc Collectors Edition that just came out on the shelves on August 26th, 2008 is wonderful. The film it's self has been redone to it's original brilliance. The special features include a reading of Tim Burton's original poem narrated by Christopher Lee, A tour ofThe Haunted Mansion in Disney Land in it's Nightmare Before Christmas decor, "Vincent" and "Frankenweenie" Two of Tim Burtons very early works, A Behind the scene of the Making of The Nightmare Before Christmas, Deleted Scenes, Storyboard to film comparisons, Original trailers and poster art, and a look inside the three worlds of the film (Halloween, Christmas and The Real World. The packaging is also a piece of art. It's a box with a little window in the front with a 3D image of Jack Skellington. You open the box from the back to reveal the discs.

The 2 Disc Collectors Edition also comes with a Disney File Digital Copy of the film that you can tranfer to your PC, Laptop, phone, Ect.... and watch the film from anywhere.
