I simply love my luxury truck. This is no ordinary truck, the 2007 Chevrolet Avalanche LT 4WD it a truck with an attitude! The Avalanche's standard vehicle price is $35,490.00, but then you have your extra options which brings your final price to $39,355.00. At the standard price the truck comes with the following standard equipment mechanical, safety, interior and exterior.
The 5.3L Vortec V8, 4 speed auto transmission with tow/haul mode, premium smooth ride suspension and driver information center make-up the mechanical standard equipment. The standard safety equipment consists of dual font airbags, passenger sensing system, remote keyless entry, antilock brake system, theft deterrent system, power door locks, power windows and tire pressure monitor. All great features and my personal favorite the Onstar service one year safe and sound plan. The Onstar has come in handy for making handsfree phone calls while driving or to get quick directions when lost.
Then you have the interior and exterior standard equipment. The seats, front bucket and rear bench come standard as cloth, but I opted to pay $2040.00 for the leather appointed first and second row seating. Other standard interior equipment is as follows manual dual-zone air conditioning, AM/FM stereo with CD and MP3, rear audio sound system controls, cruise control, floor mats, inside rearview mirror that has auto dimming, compass and temp., and lighted visor mirrors. The exterior standard equipment are the power locking tailgate, heavy-duty trailering equipment, 17" aluminum wheels, three piece rigid cargo cover, power heated outside mirrors, under body mounted spare tire, fog lamps, automatic headlamps and a two lockable top box storage. As a female I understand and use the interior standard equipment and the other features I guess just take for granted. I did however recently put sod down in front of my house and the truck was great for transporting the border stones and sod.
As stated before, the standard price comes equip with the features reviewed above. As said before I spent $2040.00 extra for the leather seating and also another $925.00 for the power sliding sunroof! I love this truck and feel super safe. The truck handles very well and drives like a car, smooth. The only bad thing I have to say about this truck is the gas mileage. The estimated annual fuel cost is $2,337.00! It gets 15 city MPG and 20 highway MPG! Ugh! My credit card cuts me off at $100.00 when filling the tank and it's not even full. I estimate to fill the truck is probably $140.00, ouch that hurts! If you can afford the gas this is the perfect truck to own.

Very nice looking truck. Yuck on the gas mileage though!
I have a friend at work that has the same truck . She loves it as well, except for the stupid gas prices.
