Turning Stone Resort & Casino

Being a Nascar fan like I'am, I was elated that Kyle Petty and Denny Hamlin were coming within hours of where I lived. I enlisted my dad and we went on a road trip to see them. Both of them were appearing at a Nascar Expo at Turning Stone Resort & Casino. So off we went on a roughly 5 hour drive.

As we closed in on the casino I could see a high rise resort off in the distance. The thing that struck me, was that this resort and casino was out in the boonies. There was nothing around but empty fields. As we pulled into the parking area, I realized that this place was HUGE. I looked around, the parking area is just huge! We left our vehicle and entered the resort and casino. After many minutes we found our way to the Expo. As we walked in that direction we passed many of the casino areas. This place is loaded with games.

We did our photo meet and greets with both Petty and Hamlin and then off we went to the casino (of course!).  It has very nice accomodations. The prices can be steap but if your gambling, your probably not to worried about it. There is also a full service spa on site if your into that kind of thing. Once again, not cheap but spas are very relaxing.

This is a 1200 acre resort.  They have all kinds of accomodations. Many different restaurants from those that want to dress up and go out to eat without the kids, to the casual dining for the families. They have even added a nightclub.

And always check the website as they have all kinds of entertainment like what we atteneded. If you haven't been to this casino, it might be worth checking out!!
