Planes, Trains, and Automobiles

...And busses too!  I have carried my Air Canada luggage with me through all these modes of transportation on countless trips, and it has never let me down.

Since I was college bound right after high school, my parents bought me this set as a graduation gift.  I don't know what they paid for it at the time (seven years ago now!), but I know that they got it at Bentley, which now prices these pieces from $50-$200 each.  Money well spent for all of the use I have gotten out of them.

The first piece is the carry-on bag.  It is the perfect size and shape for fitting into overhead racks on planes and busses, but is still roomy enough to carry everything I want to have with me.  I use it as a carry-on, or simply as an overnight bag when I'm visiting people.  I can easily fit pajamas, a change of clothes, toiletries, and a good book to read in this little bag.

The piece I use most frequently is the duffle bag.  It has two large pockets on either side, and one zippered patch pocket on the front.  This is the bag I choose when going away for a week.  I have also used this bag for weekends and fit everything I wanted plus a sleeping bag and pillow inside.

The final piece is a rolling bag.  It has two pockets on the front, as well as extra pockets and mesh on the inside for shoes and smaller items.  It also has an additional zipper all the way around the outside, which, when undone, makes the bag two inches deeper for a little extra room when I'm packing for a big trip.   This bag rolls smoothly, and the handle always retracts perfectly without any problems.  This is my bag for overseas trips, long holidays, and moving, and trust me, it has been through a lot!

The past seven years, I have used nothing but these three bags.  After cars, busses, trains, domestic flights, and overseas flights, they are only showing the slightest wear.  The corners are a little snagged and banged, but the bags still look clean, and every zipper is working like new.

I wouldn't hesitate for one second to recommend Air Canada to anyone looking for quality luggage.  Each time I pack for a trip, I can relax knowing that my things will be safe, secure, and dry when they arrive. Thanks Mom and Dad!
