Irish Friendship Ring
I had gotten this ring as a gift during my trip to Ireland, years ago, and it still remains one of my favorite pieces of jewelry. I love the design: two hands hold a heart with a crown on it. This ring has many names; the couple who had given it to me said it was called Irish Friendship Ring. However, depending on how you wear it, you can also show whether you are in love or not. If the heart is facing outwards, that means your heart is free, and if it is facing you, that means you love someone. I think this is a very cute tradition. I kept wearing it the proper "loveless" way until I had met my husband. :)
The ring is made of gold, and the heart is a clear gemstone. It looks as good as new today, after all these years, reminding me of my trip to Ireland and my friends there.
