BRAUN ELECTRIC RAZOR SERIES 3
I decided this morning that I had enough of paying for expensive blades for my manual razors and decided to go back to an electric. My concern was that the shave would not be close enough in comparison to a blade. In the past I have not been a happy camper with the Norelco shavers. I decided to opt for a Braun electric but I did not want to pay for the more expensive one which was priced well over 100 bucks. Instead I went with the middle of the road which is the series 3 model which is priced as you can see above at about 69.95.
I took it home and charged it up. At first I was not used to it and did not manage to get a close shave. Later I tried it again when I was not in such a hurry and it did a fine job with a pretty darn close shave. It has a very powerful motor built into it and it is much more powerful than I remember in comparison to the Norelco brand. A much closer shave I might add as well.
I am holding it in my hand as I am writing this review as well and it feels very solid and has good weight to it. The razor gives a really good impression of how well made it is. It has a sideburn trimmer built into it as well. You can use it with the cord or battery. It charges full in less than an hour or if you prefer just one shave it takes about 5 minutes or so to charge. Braun gives you a 60 day money back guarantee and a 2 year guarantee on the razor. Not a bad deal In my experience.

I currently have a Norelco shaver. Thanks for the info on Braun; I will definitely get this brand when I dispose of the Norelco.
I have a norelco too but I'll probably consider switching to Braun just to see how well it works in comparison.
