Peggle Nights... Even More Fun!

I have already confessed my love of Peggle.  And now I love it even more!  Last week my husband surprised me with the newly-released sequel to Peggle, Peggle Nights. 

Peggle Nights brings you back to your favourite Peggle Institute for more challenges.  Because it's nighttime, you get to see a whole new side to your teachers, as all the puzzles revolve around their dreams.  For instance, Lord Cinderbottom (the fire-breathing dragon) dreams of being a fire-fighter.  (Apparently, he feels bad when his fireballs go astray.)  So he walks you through 5 fire-fighting themed puzzles.  

The institute also has a new master teacher: Marina the electric eel, whose special ability is a lightling bolt!

Peggle Nights has endless replay options.  After you have completed all 60 levels, you have the option of going back over them to earn two additional trophies each.  The first is the ACED Superlative Score, awarded if you make over 400,000 points per level.  The second is the All Cleared trophy, awarded if you can completely clear the board of ALL pegs, not just the orange ones.  

In addition, there is an entire section of master challenges--another 60 levels!  These use the same puzzles you have previously played, but add a twist to each one.  For example, you must defeat the level with only half of the usual number of pin-balls, or you must defeat the level BUT keep your score under 100,000 points, etc...  

This version of Peggle also brings back the Dual Mode, so you can go head-to-head against the computer or against another human player, trying to beat each other's high scores.  

This game is well worth the $9.99 it costs on Steam, and is a must for any Peggle fan.  Happy Playing!
