Mystical Mist Floor accent light

This is such a unique and gorgeous atmosphere light!  A friend of my son purchased this awhile ago and when she brought it home I couldn't wait to see what it actually did.

The lighting accent comes with its own stand, a large translucent scalloped glass bowl that is available in green, blue, clear or pink colors and there is a ball that sits in the center of the bowl covering the fountain/misting unit.

You simply add a small amount of water to the base of the bowl and turn the lamp on.  The entire bowl lights up and changes colors as the light is rotated through several colored lenses and shortly after the mist made from the water rises up it begins to crawl up and over the sides of the bowl to evaporate into the air.  It looks very much like dried ice at work but isn't at all dangerous.  As the water is turning into mist, you can hear it bubbling as it dances around the base of the ball, just as soothingly as a water fountain.  It's really a very nice, conversational piece and creates a warm accented glow of colors in the room or hallway, which is where we had it.

The price for this particular unit was on sale for $59.00 at a local store that sells all kinds of unique and nifty gadgets.  I believe the original price is $89.00 for the floor lamp and between $39 and $69 for the table based and smaller floor lamp models. 

This is a great way to add accent lighting to those darker areas of the home while also creating a bit of moisture into the air as well and would be especially useful during winter months when the inside of the home is usually dryer.

A great little lighting system that not only creates ambiance but also generates conversations.
