MotoGP URT 3

Share and Enjoy:
MotoGP URT 3 is, to cut the long story short, a boon for Moto GP lovers! they have created all the original tracks to absolute perfection, as also the riders specs. Also, they have added some street tracks for street-racing lovers! hot!! now let's dissect the game to find out how good it really is, and if it actually gives you value for your money. THQ has, for starters, concentrated heavily on recreating the MotoGP tracks, almost down to the smallest bump in the track. they have even made sure that the contours of the tracks are followed, instead of just creating an absolutely flat, or level, track. and it is fun! sometimes i am racing up a steep slope, and there is a corner at the top. and i can't even see the entry! i have to guess the correct placement of my bike, and i have to guess when to brake....Other times i am racing down a decline as my bike gathers speed faster, and braking needs more precision! this is as close as you can get to actual racing! The riders haven't been forgotten though. however, i sometimes disagree with the rider specs. for example, Valentino Rossi has very low cornering ability. now, everyone knows that few riders can take a corner as fast or as well as Rossi. but then again, i guess they wanted to make it a fair game, and didn't want one rider to have very high specs compared to the others. The best part is probably the street racing! it is insane how you can race down Tokyo's streets in the middle of the night at neck breaking speed, barely avoiding the walls. or how you make your way around a mountain track, staying away from the fences. the street tracks are absolutely breath-taking! one part THQ didn't do well in, however, is the music. i often choose to have my own music playing instead of THQs tracks. but then again, the sound of a MotoGP bike revving up is probably sweeter than any music THQ could have introduced. another thing that bothers me is the AI. in rookie mode, almost all riders ride together in a pack. if you racing against 10 riders, for instance, 8 of them will be riding in one pack, while two will stay well behind them, as if to save a newbie rider some grace. then there are the senseless tutorials! no matter how badly you perform, you always get the same message- "WELL DONE". seriously, these are the tutorials!?!? all in all, this game is well worth the bucks spent on it, and any moto racing fan is going to have hours of fun beating world-class riders at their own game!
