A Mouse From Logitech, Heavy but Strong

When you talk about Desktop computer, mouse is the next thing that every body talk about. It is very important member of the computer family. I know now a days everybody own Laptops and prefer to have laptops but still some of the people including me prefer to use mouse even if you are using laptop. It is convenient for me to use..!! So when you are using mouse, it should be good / light / should be smooth and should be working on all kinds of surface.

This is not the case with this mouse. Logitech Pilot Wheel Mouse mouse is of three types available in interface. PS/2, Serial & USB. I have used PS/2 and going to talk about it only.

PS/2 interface; I faced many times a mouse detection issues and also Not able to detect if you are connecting it after computer is on. You need to restart the machine to use this mouse. Also - it comes in Optical and Opto-mechanical movement technology. I have used with 2nd one.. which I don't like at all.

Opto-mechanical is the one which uses BALL for movement.

If you are going to use this one- be neat and clean. You have to keep your desk very clean because to work this mouse smoothly you have to clean BALL regularly otherwise you won't get that smoothness & not just desk but you should have one very good Mouse pad.. which is mandatory. Without which you cannot be able to use this mouse.

It having BALL inside so - weight of the Mouse gets little increased because of it.

Other than this I didn't find any problem. Design wise it is Not so GOOD.. it can come under average. I never complained about the hand pain while using it.. size is also small to fit in the hand.

Now a days no one prefer to use mouse with opto-mechanical movement technology and I also don't prefer to use.. instead of this one you can use the same mouse with USB and Optical.
