Enjoy Nightmares? Try Chantix!
My Physician wrote me a presciption for Chantix at my request. I began taking them as prescribed twice daily a day or so after receiving them from our mail-in prescription plan, Merck Medco. I started having the most vivid nightmares I have ever had in my life, so terrifying, in fact, that I was waking up and could not go back to sleep. Not only did it interupt my sleep but my husbands as well. I was smoking the same amout of cigarettes as I had been when I first stated taking them.
Im a little slow sometimes so I did not realize that the nightmares were being caused by the Chantix, until I happened to see the commercial on TV one day and heard that one of the side effects can be Vivid Night Dreams.
Dreams Nothin' - These were serious NIGHTMARES! Needless to say I no longer take Chantix, and yes, I still smoke.

Wow-that must have been frightening! I seem to have the same kind of problems when I take anything with a narcotic in it. (I call them axe murder dreams.) Glad you figured out what was causing the dreams.
Sorry this did not work for you and that you had horrible nightmaress! This did work really well for my mom and her only complaint was cotton mouth.
