Canon PowerShot SD990 IS Digital Camera
This Canon Powershot Digital Camera is my husband's new baby. He wanted a small point and shoot camera that he could carry with him easily. Our professional cameras are too big and bulky to carry around randomly. He decided on this camera after doing some research online, and has not been disappointed.
The camera is 14.7 megapixels with 3.7x optical zoom and optical image stabilization. It takes beautiful, clear, sharp pictures, and the colors are vivid and true. The camera comes with a wrist strap, battery charger, battery pack, AV cable, Interface Cable, Memory card (32MB) and software. I have taken pictures with the camera myself, and it is very easy to operate. One of the things I especially like about it are the clear videos it takes, with great audio. A lot of point and shoot cameras do not do a great job with video, or the video is fine but the audio is low. This camera takes clear video with great sound. It has a sturdy body to it, does not feel flimsy when you hold it.
All in all, this is a great camera in a nice, small package. My husband loves it and is so glad he purchased it. I don't think anyone who gets this camera would be disappointed.
