The Far Side Desktop Planner

My husband has always liked the comic strip "The Far Side", so much that he has even bought books of their comic collections. Last Christmas his mom found this Far Side desktop day planner and just had to get it for him. He decided to put it on our dresser right next to the bed so he can look at it every night before he goes to bed.

Even thought the planner was a gift for him, I have found it very useful to have for the both of us. I write appointments and other plans in it also to help me remember what is going on each day. It really helps to keep us both on the same page when it comes to planning our weeks. My hubby has never been that great at remembering things, especially plans outside of work, and he said having this has helped him a lot.

The book is constructed with a spiral backing so you can either leave it open or fold it in half. When left open, there is a full page Far Side comic on the left and a day by day block of the week on the right. The area for each day to write in is big enough to write many different events in. The Saturday and Sunday blocks are smaller, but still has enough room to get plenty of info written in.

At the beginning of each month, there is a full calendar page, and a page for notes. We have never used this block of pages because there is always plenty of room in each week to write in what we need to remember.
