Real Player Plus

I have been using Real Player for a long time. It is one of the best free players that are available today. I've been using Real Player from version 10 and still I am using it. It is my favorite player. Here are my views why Real Player is still my favorite when there are tons of other software out there.

Real Player is the one those players which are capable of playing almost all formats. Some of the formats which Real Player play without use of any external codecs. It can play many widely used formats like mp3, wma, aac, wav, mp4, divx, flv and more. You can listen to 1000+ Radio stations online. It not plays songs and videos but it can also be used to transfer music to portable players like iPOD or any other MP3 player. We can also burn CD,s and DVD,s with Real Player thus we can burn our CD's and DVD'd without any use of other external burning software.

It also has some drawbacks. Real Player cannot play the most widely used formats VOB (DVD), MOV, QT, OGG, FLAC on its own. You have to install some other codecs or their native players in order to play those formats on Real Player. This is the only drawback which makes me use other players. I hope Real will add these features in future.

Real Player is free version which is open to everyone. Anyone can use it. But Real Player Plus comes with some more extra features added to the Real Player basic version. Some features are locked in Real Player basic version. They are MP3 CD burning, Advanced Video controls, 10 Band graphic equilizer and more.
