No Interference!

My Uniden TRU8865 Cordless Phone meets my needs and more!

I had several primary needs when I bought it:

1.  That it would not interfere with my wireless network (WiFi g),

2.  That it have standard mini jacks for using headphones,  and

3.  It have a speaker phone in the base.

The TRU8865 has all of this and a lot more....  In addition to the one in the base, each handset will also function as a speakerphone.  While I previously used a headset for phone meetings I switched over to using the portable speakerphone instead.

It has plenty of phone number memory locations and is easy to program.   You can use the base with up to 10 handsets (I got 3 handsets in a package with my base station from Costco).   There are Mute and Hold functions.

I don't have any interference problems with the 5.8Ghz frequency.   The base and handsets have caller ID.  The base can be wall mounted or sit on a flat surface.   The handsets come with detachable belt clips.   The displays and all of the critical keys on the handset are backlit.  When it rings, the displays illuminate, making the base or handsets easy to find in the dark.

Using DirectLink mode you can use two of the handsets like walkie talkies.  You can also use the phones as a Room Monitor.

'Do Not Disturb' mode sends any incoming calls directly to the answering machine.  This is great for when you don't want to receive calls during meetings or sleep.

The TRU8865 comes with a one-year limited warranty.
