The Mummy Collection

The Mummy Collection contains two Mummy movies starring Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz.

These movies were rather entertaining.  I didn't think I would like them but was pleasantly surprised.  The movies are action-packed and have some great special effects.  The Mummy runs 2 hours and 5 minutes.  In this movie, there is long-lost treasure to be found as well as a curse to deal with.  The Mummy contains some great special features as well, such as commentary by the director, Stephen Sommers, theatrical trailers, Universal Showcase, an in-depth look into the creating of the movie, and more.

The Mummy Returns is the second movie in this collection.  It runs 2 hours and 10 minutes and is as full of action as the first movie.  In The Mummy Returns, Rick O'Connell (Brendan Fraser) and wife Edie (Rachel Weisz) must find their son, and naturally, they encounter adventures along the way.  Some of the special features on this DVD include a conversation with The Rock (yes, he's in this movie, too), info on the making of the movie, outtakes, games and screen savers, and more.

I really liked this collection.  The cast did a great job of acting, and the movies were full of action and thrills.  I would recommend this collection.  At the time my husband and I purchased it, it was around $50.00, but I'm sure you can get a better deal on it now.
