Cozy By The Fireplace

My favorite purchase that I've made in a long time is this really neat Hearth Trends Hampton Mini Fireplace. I am turning my daughter's old bedroom into a writer's retreat, and along with a cozy chair, and a new desk, I purchased this fantastic free-standing fireplace that has a real heater in it. It is all electric, and looks so real that you won't believe your eyes. Even the logs glow like real fire logs. It is more genuine looking than my larger electric free-standing fireplace, that we originally bought to use in our coffeehouse. That one fooled the fire chief, so I know this one would.

The smaller size of this fireplace makes it perfect for condos or smaller rooms. I chose one with a white semi-gloss finish, as the room has a Victorian feel to it, and this little fireplace just added to the ambience. The controls are hidden away in a secret compartment, and it even comes with a remote control. The price was great at $249.00!  

You can choose to just have the flame on (without having the heater running), or you can have the flame and the heater. The heater will be great for those cold nights, when my husband may have already gone to bed, with our furnace set lower for sleeping. With this heater in the room, I won't have to turn up the thermostat, if I get chilly, writing late into the night (as I often do.)

I am very pleased with this Hampton Hearth Trends Mini Fireplace. In fact, very soon I intend to order another one, for another room in my house. I forgot to mention that the shipping was free, and that is amazing, because for an item this large, it would have been extremely expensive! Every time I walk past that room, it makes me smile. (There's just something about a fireplace.)
