Who's Been Eating My Chips?

This isn't a ground-breaking product, and I'm not going to tell you it's the greatest thing since sliced bread, but it IS cute, and it made me smile.

My husband's grandmother likes to give us a gift bag of household odds and ends every year for Christmas.  I think she adds to our gift all year long!  One of the items in this year's goodie bag was this adorable chip clip.  It's a bright, sunshiny yellow with a cute little frog on it.   

This is a Dollarama brand product, so I know it could not have cost more than 1-2 dollars, yet it is surprisingly strong and well-made.  It seems very durable.   A winning feature of this simple little clip is that it has a good strong magnet on the back so I can just stick it on the fridge when it is not in use.  A great way to keep it from getting lost, if you ask me.

The real reason this was such a hit, though, was the sound effects!  Whenever the clip is squeezed into the open position, the little frog calls out, "Ribbit, Ribbit!"  It caught us off-guard the first time, and made us laugh.  A bonus is that now we have a deturrent from snacking, and we can catch chip-thieves red handed. =)  

I believe this comes with other animals on it as well.  It makes a cute, inexpensive gift for a child or an animal lover...  not to mention a great security system for your favourite treats.  =)
