Soft Cuddly Binkie: An Organic Cuddle
Froggy loves her Charisma binky! But I also like to switch off between blankets to save wear and refresh the bedding. So, when I received a gift card from my sister in law Gail from JC Penney's, I happily went online to see what I could find. Imagine my surprise when I saw these 100% organic binkies for such a low price! I had to have one. Though it only came in 4 colors: Sage, very natural, mocha, and earth baked clay, I still wanted one and chose the Sage. Originally priced from $69.99-$89.99, they were marked down to $34.99-$44.99, sizes Twin through King. Though my bed is a California King, the King sized blanket fits it perfectly, with plenty of draping on both sides for firm tucking in.
This blanket is created using no pesticides or synethetics of any kind. I really like that no environmental harm was caused by growing the cotton or weaving this blanket. The texture is soft and nubbly, which I love. The nicely finished hems are not too thick or rigid, making it feel soft and comfy. It is a medium warm cotton, making it ideal under heavier down comforters. The deep sage color contrasts beautiful with my snow white linens, giving the bed a crisp very clean finish.
It washes beautifully, using the warm/cold cycle on my machine, and dries beautifully without shrinkage. This would be an excellent blanket for children with allergies or asthma. Pure cotton, especially organic cotton is ideal for such children. At this price, it is so worth trying. As one reviewer says: her baby plays on her binkie all day in utter comfort. That's a good enough recommendation for me!
