As of January 1, 2009, my family and I decided to eat healthier, not neccessarily diet, lose some weight and tone up along the way. Here came Weight Watchers! Although not especially easy the first 2 weeks or so, as of this date (jan.25), it's much easier. Don't get me wrong, I still crave certain items, but it's easier to say no as long as I have some healthy Weight Watchers snacks in the house. The idea of the "Points System" is, in my opinion, a great idea. You can still eat some of the things you are craving, but at smaller portions. Although some people may think the Weight Watchers Points are hard to manage, they are not. After a week or so of being on Weight Watchers, you have a good idea of how much 1/2 C. and 1C. is. Just like any other weight loss program, excercise greatly improves your chances of success. The Weight Watchers "Dining Out Companion" is great for when you have to be away from the house all day. You know what you can eat and how much of it. Weight Watchers recipes are available on line and so far, my family has really enjoyed them. Weight Watchers offers a variety of main dishes, side dishes, soups, and desserts. As of today, I have dropped 3 inches in my waist and 7.5 lbs, my husband has lost 1.5 inches in his waist and 14.5 lbs. All this in only 25 days of Weight Watchers and 20 minutes of excercise per day. Weight Watchers has my vote and I will continue to "watch my weight" until I reach my goal weight. (only 14 more lbs. to go...)

Good luck. This sounds like a great way to lose weight.
