Apple's iTunes has been my favorite place to purchase and listen to my favorite music. All in this one software package is everything I need to get the full experience out of my music. All you need to do is download the installer from Apple's website, and follow the on-screen instructions and it will be up and working within minutes. The highlight of the software is the iTunes Store, which has and endless variety of music, movies, TV shows, games and podcasts for you to download. Music prices average $0.99 per song. In my opinion, it is the most visually appealing and most easy to use media player that I have used. The "Smart Playlist" feature allows you to create custom playlists based upon rating, play frequency or totally random songs. Perhaps the best part about this software is its connection with the iPod. With iTunes, you can easily transfer files to and from your iPod. It comes with an easy converter to ensure all your files are in the high quality Advanced Audio Coding format. For sure, iTunes is one of my favorite software programs on my computer. It does so much at no cost, and has so many extras to offer.
