Nationwide Car Insurance
At the end of last year we bought another vehicle. We had to get a loan from the bank so I had to add the new vehicle to my current insurance. I had one car insured for only liability for $70 a month. When I added the new vehicle for full coverage my rate went from $70 a month to $218 a month! My car with liabilty is a 1999 Honda Accord and the car with full coverage is a 1998 Toyota 4runner. I have a spotless driving record and my husband has a ticket, but they would not add him to my coverage because it would be more expensive. He drives the Honda and 4runner but if he were to get in an accident they would most likely not pay. Because of this we are thinking about going to Direct Insurance. We have used them before and they would cover him and me for a cheaper price. The only reason I went to Nationwide to begin with was because their location is more convienient. I think their customer service at my local office is top notch- but I think they are charging way too much. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I did not give them a great rating on claim speed because my sister currently uses Nationwide and it took them over a week to have it approved to fix her car for a fender bender They have 2 payment options, once a month with a $5 charge or every 6 months. While I think this is an okay insurance I am just not sure if it is for us.
