Time, This Fabulous Century

 We were given this set of Time Life books. They come in a dark brown case with gold lettering. These books cover the history of the nation. Starting from 1920 on up to 1970. This set covers topics like, politics, and John Kennedy, and other major events that took place. There is a book that covers the years from 1920 to 1930.  The next book covers the years from 1930 to 1940.There is a book on 1940 to 1950. The next book covers1950 to to 1960. It has all the major events, including Elvis.There is a book that covers 1960 to 1970. This is an excellent set of books recording all the most important events in the nation. This includes famous sports figures, musicians, like the Beatles, and many figures who stood out  in life with acomplishments during these times. The photgraphy is excellent and it would be a fantastic collectors item. It is an interesting walk through of the developments, from cars and hairstyles to the many more complex issues that our nation has delt with. You see the development and changes in clothing, and the progress , as well as failures that took place over the years. You see the pictures ranging from the happiest times to the much more difficult, and sadder times. You see the stars, heroes, and the people who fell from grace and glory. They are extremly interesting to read and I did see many pictures that I had never seen before. It could be described as an experience in life, that should not be missed. Find out how we got to where we are today and why. You see our history unfold, page by page. Many of the pages will bring back memories, to the times that you saw on the news. It is a testimony to the people who changed our world forever. It is a dedication to the memory of all those who are no longer with us. Movements and protests, to the just and unjust series of events, it is a remarkable detailed picture of the century!
