Sterling Ensemble 60x32 bathtub and surround

We purchased this bathtub and surround for a bathroom re-do in Feb/09. We've used the tub for a couple months now and so far there is nothing I don't love about this tub. The instillation was a breeze, thanks to the fact that the tub and surround attached directly to the wall studs - we didnt have to re-sheetrock or put up backer board. It fit right in where the old cast iron tub was. The tub is nice and deep, which makes it great for soaking. The back is sloped nicely and the bottom is textured for a no slip surface, but not so much so that its uncomfortable to sit on. The surround has 4 shelves (two in each back corner) and the tub has a nice wide rim around it - plenty of room for shampoos and such. The surfaces are all easy to clean and reachable without actually having to get in the tub. Just a spritz with a bathroom cleaner, quick rinse, and it shines like brand new. If you're thinking of purchasing this tub and surround, I wouldn't hesitate. The material is fairly lightweight (much more so than the old cast iron tub we took out!) and sturdy. If I had it to do over, I'd buy this again.
