Bulova Anniversary Clock
When my last clock stopped working, I set out to find a new one. If you knew me and shopping, you'd know this was not an easy task. There are way too many things to choose from and I'm not one who makes decisions easily.
The previous clock was given to me by my dad. When it broke, I couldn't bring myself to throw it out, so it's stored away.
I first looked online to see what was available. There were so many types and brands that my head was spinning. A clock is something you look at a lot, so you want to like it. The problem was, I liked too many.
My husband and I visited several stores and checked out every clock in sight. He could have found one in the first store, but that rarely happens with me. So, we trudged on and came home without one. I knew I had to find one soon because I kept looking at an empty spot and it was making me crazy.
We took a trip to an outlet mall one weekend, just to get out of the house. While wandering through the Pfaltzgraff store, I spotted this clock. It was the same type that my dad had given us, which made me feel good. Plus, it was pretty. I liked the tea rose design on the face and the colors went perfectly with our furniture. Even better, the price was reasonable and it was a brand I had heard of all my life. We had a winner!
The clock has been a nice addition to our home. Like most clocks I've ever owned, it runs a tiny bit slow, but not enough to bother me.

We used to own a clock like this when I was younger. It was an antique that my mom owned. Funny thing, my friend was playing with a basketball inside the house and my mom said to stop, but he didn't. A few seconds later the ball got away from him and broke the clock..boy was she mad!
We used to have one like this in the house when I was growing up.
