Fragile & dangerous clock

This piece of Holy Family clock made from glass was the one he received during the exchange. The glass has sculpted floral designs and the edges are finished smoothly. It is battery operated with one 2AA battery. Although the edges are smooth, it is glass made so prone to accidents. When I need to clean it I have to be extra careful to avoid any cut from the edges. Also, I need to place it on a safe place to avoid it from falling and breakage. It is ¾ size of an ordinary plate. It is easy to clean but very fragile and not kids-friendly décor.
I have 2 kids who are very playful and I am worried when they played with balls that bump from wall to wall that it might hit the clock. Oh no!
