Being Labelled

Share and Enjoy:

Nobody wants to be labelled, right? Putting a label on someone is like stereo-typing the person or putting his or her reputation at risk for being branded. Not me! Well, not my personal stuff at least. Lol! I don't mind putting labels to my personal items because I want order in my place.

I have many collections of books, DVDs, miniature toys and items which require labelling. I am getting tired preparing templates in Excel and then cutting them and pasting them on my collection. I just find it tedious and not cost-effective because I have to use a laser printer, paper, glue, electricity and sneak in the office to do all that :) That's not easy I tell you...

I decided to just purchase my own personal labeller so my daughter can use it for her school books and notebooks as well. Now, my files are properly labelled and organized. My DVDs are now numbered, the toys are labelled accordingly and the books are tagged.

This P-Touch Electronic Labeller from Brother is very portable and does the basic requirements I prefer for labelling. I really am not after fancy borders or colorful tags, just simple and legible texts are good enough.

P-Touch Labeller is battery operated (4 AAA) so you don't worry about consuming electricity. Other features include:

Automatic Time and Date labels

12 character LCD display

Double Line printing

Uses M tape 9mm or 12mm width

71 symbols which are usable for business and personal purpose

Large and clear printing

Cutter

QWERTY Keyboard

Various type styles and sizes to choose from (outline, normal, bold, italic, shadow and combinations of both)

The tape used comes various colors like white, gold, silver, yellow, green, blue, and pink. I am using the white tape at the moment because the unit came with a free white tape.

I think this labeller is very useful for me and my family whether it is for business or home use.
